Bukhara - an oasis town with full of traditional crafst in Uzbekistan

Bukhara is a town located in the southern part of Uzbekistan, about 450 km away from the capital, Tashkent. It is an old town, which dates back to the 5th century BC.

It produces natural gas and famous for its textile such as Suzani and carpet weaving as well as bird shaped scissors like these.

The historic town center, which is a must-see if you visit Uzbekistan is on the UNESCO world heritage list since 1993. There are many sites such as Po-i-Kalyan, Kalyan minaret, Samanid Mausoleum, Char Minar.

When I visited the town, I saw some traditional dance in the old town, which made me feel like I was travelling back in time!
