Edo Kiriko cut glass from Japan

Edo Kiriko cut glass was created in 1834 in Edo, which is now known as Tokyo. The person studied glass production in Osaka where advanced glass manufacturing method, brought the technique back to Edo, which was then spread through Edo. 

Popular patterns include Yarai, which resembles rain of arrows, chrysanthemums or hemp leaves. 

There are Kiriko cut glass such as wine glass, bowls, dishes, vases to name a few.
