Handmade wooden products from Laos

Laos is a landlocked country in South East Asia, bordering Thailand, China, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia.

It is said that about 70% of the country is forest. That obviously means there are a lot of different kind of trees.

Some handmade wooden products made of trees such as coconut wood, rosewood, pine trees, teak wood etc are made by local artisans.

When I lived there I discovered some really high quality and beautiful handmade wooden products such as plates, bowls, spoons and candle holders.
