Natural dye - mulberry

Mulberry trees grow in many parts of the northern hemisphere such as Southern Europe, Middle East, northern Africa and Indian subcontinent as well as a lot of the Asian countries. It originated in the area of current China and Korea. They grow in Japan and Laos as well.

Using this mulberry leaves, you can dye textile and obtain yellow shades of color. They actually contain a lot of minerals such as zinc and calcium. The fruits are often made into a jam or a fruit liquor.
