Natural dye - plum tree

Early spring is the time of the year when you see the plum trees in full bloom, however, to dye with plum tree, you take the branches and bark a little earlier than the flowers bloom, which gives most strong color.

In Japan, it is seen as a sign of spring as it is one of the flowers that bloom earliest in early spring.

You can use different dyeing agents such as copper, titanium, alminium and iron, which will produce beautiful reddish colors.
