Natural dye - Sakura (cherry blossom)
As you probably know, Japanese people have a passion for the Sakura (cherry blossom) that blooms in early spring for about 2 weeks.
It is most likely the only nation that follows the blooming of a particular flower in the weather section of the news!
You can make a beautiful pink color by collecting the twigs with buds before flowering, cooking and cooling for about 40 days until they are matured. Total time it would take until you can get the color similar to that of the flower (see below photo for the color if you are not familiar) is about 90 days.
