Laos (Lao PDR is the official name) is a land-locked country in south-east Asia surrounded by Thailand, Cambodia, Viet Nam, China and Myanmar. It is one of the so-called Indo-China countries, which was under the French colony. 

The people are very friendly and produce beautiful handmade textile with cotton and silk, which are also traditional clothes they wear for ceremonies etc. The other handmade products in Laos is wooden products made of material - bamboo and rosewood to name a few.
