Japanese pottery - Mino ware
Mino ware is a kind of pottery produced in Mino region, in Gifu Prefecture in central part of Japan.
Its history started around 1300 years ago and became pass production in Meiji period (1868-1912). Now about 50% of Japanese pottery produced are from this region.
There are a few different styles in the category of Mino ware such as Oribe ware, Ki-Seto ware, Setoguro ware and Shino ware.
